Germination & Growing Guides
Welcome to Superior Seed Co's growing resource hub. Whether you're a first-time grower or a seasoned cultivator, our guides will help you get the most out of every seed.
Germination Basics
Successful germination is the foundation of a great grow. Follow these steps for the best results:
- Soak your seeds in a warm water/hydrogen peroxide solution(1.5 ounces of water and about 6 drops of hydrogen peroxide)for 12-18 hours.
- Paper towel method: Place seeds between a damp paper towel and put in a pastic baggie. Keep in a warm, dark place (70–85°F / 21–29°C).
- Check daily — most seeds will sprout within 24–72 hours. Once the taproot is ¼–½ inch long, they're ready to plant.
- Plant taproot-down about ½ inch deep in your growing medium.
Growing Environment
- Temperature: 70–85°F (21–29°C) during the day; slightly cooler at night
- Humidity: 60–70% RH during seedling/veg; 40–50% RH during flower
- Light (Indoor): 18 hours on / 6 hours off for veg; 12/12 to trigger flowering
- Watering: Water when the top inch of soil is dry — avoid overwatering
